Last night Maxine & I were outside at the end of the evening enjoying the view. Since Cassie is now much mellower than she's ever been, we brought her with us. After maybe 10 minutes of wandering, she stood underneath Maxine's legs (which were stretched out across to the hassock). Then Cassie came over to me. Then Maxine noticed that she was going into seizure. We both jumped to our routine. I turned the outdoor lights on and made room in case Cassie flopped around. Maxine got the timer. We both comforted Cassie through her 2 minute siezure. During it I was frustrated. She'd had a seizure Sunday the week before and then Monday we'd upped her phenobarbital dosage. I thought we had things under control, that Cassie would stay seizure-less at this level for, I don't know, I was hoping for a month. And we got 8 days...
Early the next morning she did her usual go outside at dawn. Then after I brought her in, she threw up...
Later that morning, Cassie was laying in the hallway watching Maxine make food. I came through and noticed that her fur was wet. She was leaking and laying in a fair sized puddle of urine.
Three incidents within 24 hours. We're worried that this might be the start of the beginning of the end...
