Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle
When I started this blog I had in mind doing a posting about how dogs are an example of the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. (Which means, in this case, that the act of observing Cassie changes her behavior. And thus, that you can't really tell how she's feeling). I'd like that to be the theme of the post, but over the last 2 weeks she's aged ENORMOUSLY. She's just tired all the time. Doesn't always look up. Sometimes doesn't follow us. Sometimes trips slightly as she walks over the door sill. I wish it weren't so, but I can observe her now without risk that my watching her will change what she's doing, because she's doing so little.
